I am the vine; you are the branches.

Welcome! Our family is thrilled that you have taken the time to see what we accomplish on our farm.  In early 2021, we followed God's calling and uprooted our family from the big city. The concepts of  learning to live off the land, teaching our boys to work with their hands, and appreciating the beauty of simplicity propelled us into our new life.

In our first year, we learned how to raise and process twenty-five meat chickens from start to finish. We started our first garden and were surprisingly successful with tomatoes (those that know us previously should be especially impressed!). We bought horses, the wrong horses, and learned how to sell horses. We brought home baby bunnies, spent lots of time and money building bunny enclosures and in the end all four of our bunnies chose to go free range. We have learned that chickens are priceless. They are simple yet provide both food and entertainment and are not to be taken for granted. At the end or our first year, we decided to try our hand at raising and breeding Mangalitsa pigs. 

Each day on the farm brings something new. There is always something to do, something to learn, and a mouth to feed. We are blessed to be able to share some of our bounty with each of you.
